- Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) is a non-profit and non-political student organization which provides communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe. It consists of 76 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 29 countries, and it strives to help European students of technology to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis....

- Information Technology Committee (ITC) Developers' Meeting is BEST internal event which gathers BEST International ITC members and enables them to work together on some particular projects.

 

- The period of the event is from July, 31st till August, 4th. The organizing BEST group is BEST Observer Niš and the place is, of course, Niš.

• Group founded in January 2006.
• Became BEST Observer in January 2007.
• 26 members
• 6 Faculties and expanding

• Board:
1. President, the One and Only - Dušan Gajić
2. Treasurer, the Always Guilty One - Saša Zafirović
3. Secretary, the Always There One - Nikola Jovanović
4. FR Responsible, and the man who knows (too) much - Miloš Kosanović

7. HR Responsible, and a non-sleeper - Bobana Midić

• Oversight Committee:
1. Ivan Stojiljković, who can explain every single thing in about two lines
2. Miloš Mićić, who is also, the WebMaster and Deadline-breaker
3. Marina Karadžić, who wants to be a punk but without success

• Registrated as NGO
• Founding Assembly adopted the Statute of the organization, Working rules for the Board and Working rules for the Assembly
• Acquired an office at the FEE, with phone and Internet connection

• 7 people participated in FR and PM trainings organized by LBG Belgrade
• 1 man was the co-organizer of the IPF
• 1 man was the co-organizer of the SpC in Novi Sad
• 1 man was the co-organizer of the Job Fair in Skopje
• 4 men were the co-organizers of SE RM in Belgrade
• 3 our members will participate at the BEST courses during this summer
• 1 our member will be the co-organizer of the summer course in Bucharest
• 5 our members (or more) will be the co-organizers of the summer course in Skopje

FUTURE PLANS:

- After this ITCdm, we are planning to organize the next SE RM in spring and the course in September 2008. Besides that, we are also thinking about the organization of some cultural exchange in near future
- We are still in the process of forming and spreading the group, assembling the right people and determining each duties and responsibilities according to their interests and abilities.
- Now, our priors are still to have as much as possible co-organizers of the future courses and events, and also, to organize and participate in a lot of different trainings.

Activities:

- The President of the BEST International, Bartek Lipnitzki, held the BKT presentation to our group
- The Secretary of the BEST International, Bram Simmons, held the “Team-work building” training
- The treasurer of the BEST International, Luka Vidmar, and the vice-president for the external service, Tzveta Dimitrova, held the presentation of the International BEST structure to our group
- The President of LBG Skopje, Vasil Krstevski, held the FR training

Finances:

- First ever student organization to have an agreement with the University on annual funding
- First ever student organization to have an agreement with the Students’ parliament of the FEE on annual funding

- 7500e grant from the IIE for Students Club (BEST+GNU+3D)

- 5 comps, 1 graphic tablet, 1 AP + library (80 books) + AC + 50 m² classroom
